WP-Members 3.3.0 has been released. I have been working on this update for more than 1/2 the year (2019). It is the most significant update to the plugin up to this point.

While most of the changes are behind-the-scenes, so-to-speak, there are definitely changes that you need to be aware of.  For most users who have a relatively recent install of the plugin, this should be fairly seamless. But if you have an older install (“older” meaning here that you’ve had it installed for a long time – even if you’ve kept it up to date) AND you have a lot of customizations, please take note of any changes in file names, removed functions, and updated action/filter hooks.  Continue Reading →

WP-Members Beta Release Candidate 2 was pushed out to wordpress.org this morning.  I have high expectations that this will be the final package and expect it to be pushed out to production soon.

Please let me remind everyone that this is a tricky upgrade.  It is huge on the back end of the code for the plugin, but as far as features go, it shouldn’t look any different than what you’re running now.  Continue Reading →

Adding text to the WooCommerce thank you page

When you complete a transaction in WooCommerce, the process ultimately brings you back to a “Thank You” page. This generally will have information about the order, including the ID, date, amount paid, etc.

When using the WP-Members Memberships for WooCommerce extension, you may wish to customize the Thank You page to include some text for the user that has information about their membership, next steps, etc. How can you do that?  Continue Reading →
