WP-Members Development Version on Github

I have created a new repository on Github for the most recent development version of WP-Members. If you are interested in following WP-Members changes and updates, as well as using the bleeding edge version, please checkout https://github.com/rocketgeek/wp-members-dev

Note that the changes in the repo may not always be stable (although general testing is usually done prior to committing changes), so it may not always be appropriate for a production site. But it will give you something you can run on a development site to keep up with the most recent development of WP-Members.

If you are testing the development version and discover a bug, please report it through the repo. Also note that this repo does accept pull requests, so if you’ve discovered a bug and developed a fix, you can submit a pull request.

With regards to pull requests for features, please note that I do not accept every feature request that comes along. I get a lot of well intentioned suggestions for features that unfortunately just do not fit the mainstream of the plugin. If I don’t accept a pull request with a feature update, that doesn’t mean your idea was bad or I didn’t like it. It just means that it probably should remain outside the plugin as a possible customization using filters and/or actions. In other words, it’s more appropriate as a customization.

I definitely need alpha and beta testers on the dev version. So if you’re inclined to use bleeding edge development versions, please use the WP-Members Development version and let me know how it’s working out for you.
