The WP-Members 3.2.0 release is imminent. It’s exciting because this is going to begin a new phase in the growth of the plugin with a lot more planned for future releases that will build on the 3.2 features.
I’ve been working hard on this release to make sure it is solid, but there are always people out there that have customized their configuration in a way that I can’t necessarily plan for. So upgrade testing is always helpful. That allows the community to have an idea of what’s coming and how the upgrade will go, and it provides me opportunity to work out any issues prior to official release.
With that said, WP-Members 3.2.0 is in “release candidate” mode. That means the current builds at Github and Bitbucket are considered “production ready” and should be free of issues. There should be no major issues in the package and we’re in final testing mode.
Please feel free to test and provide feedback. It is still recommended that you test the update on a testing server first.

One important note on rollback: if you upgrade and for some reason you need to rollback to a previous version, 3.2.0 does add the username field to the fields array. You will need to remove that if you roll back. Based on the way that 3.1.x and earlier versions handle the WP native fields, this field can be deleted via the Fields tab.
